Covid-19

We are living in difficult times. The global Covid-19 pandemic is having devastating effects on every aspect of our lives: our schools, our homes, our healthcare and our jobs, to name a few. We must get rid of cruel tax laws like the TABOR and Gallagher amendments that put a stranglehold on local governments’ ability to provide essential services to their citizens, like quality education and safe roads and bridges. We must make sure our most vulnerable citizens, our elderly and our children, are protected and cared for. We must take reasonable steps to fight climate change. We need to make sure that all of us, not just a few, get a fair share of the enormous wealth of this great nation. That means more jobs for Americans and decent wages for all workers. I know we can accomplish these goals. I know we can do better. We can build a better world for our children. We need to start right now with new leadership. We need leaders with heart, humility, compassion, and humility. With your support, those are the qualities I will bring to the State Senate of Colorado.
